Many scenes in the play took place in the West. During the Tang Dynasty, Dongshi City and Xicheng City were the economic activity centers of Chang'an City, and they were important places for Chinese and foreign countries to carry out economic exchange activities. East of the city is west of Xi'an Jiaotong University and north of Xi'an Railway Bureau. The street is 30 meters wide and twice as wide as the West. Around the city of the “Nanbeiju Second Square” in the west of the city, there are two doors on each side, with a total of eight doors. In the east of the city, there are many royal families and nobles in the village, so the market is mostly superior luxury. There are many civilians' houses in the West, and most of the goods are daily necessities such as clothes, candles, cakes, and medicines. The West is more prosperous than the East, and it is the main commercial area and economic and political center of Chang'an City. Therefore, it is called the gold market.
A visitor said: "I graduated from Peking University with an archaeology major. I was obsessed with chasing dramas and went to Xi'an to see it. After visiting Xi'an Museum, I feel that Xi'an City is really amazing. Tang Chang'an City more than 1,000 years ago is not only large. With a large population, its planning, design and management system are both advanced, reasonable, convenient and humanized. I carefully compared the name of each 'Lifang' that appeared in the play and found that every area of Xi'an has a rich history. The stories, famous household names that have only been heard in books, such as Li Bai, are all living by our side.
In recent years, Xi'an has built a “museum city” as a guide, fully tapping and effectively integrating various historical and cultural heritage resources, accelerating the construction of various state-owned and folk museums, creating a Silk Road cultural highland, and building a Chinese civilization spirituality. At present, Xi'an has basically established a new pattern of museum undertakings with state-owned museums as the main body, industry museums as the backbone, non-state-owned museums as the new force, all kinds of ownership, and the categories are novel and complete, the layout is scientific and reasonable, and the content is rich and colorful.
